LAs Silver Lake Reservoir was drained last summer to comply with new federal drinking water rules that forbid open air reservoirs. Due to our recent surplus of rainfall LADWP has committed to refilling the reservoir ahead of schedule starting mid-April. The reservoirs future after being refilled; however, is still being decided.

Many exciting initiatives already exist proposing various reimagined spaces, parklands, and sanctuaries for the reservoir. Here at Kilograph we are interested in the power of the virtual and the augmented to elicit excitement around great ideas and to engage the community.
